I recently had the pleasure of dining at Masala & Coal, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and attentive service. AVOID THIS PLACE I wish I could give zero stars Went here for a meal with the family yesterday and was shocked at the poor service. The management is so clueless I really dont know how theyre operating. They threw out a guest (mistook him to be someone else) without even checking. No apology in the end. Shameful management with no people skill.

We were a group of 14 who booked a table to celebrate my sisters 18th birthday. After our starters we requested to bring out the cake and asked for them to play a birthday song. We waited 15 minutes but nothing happened. We asked again and still nothing. We asked once again and they brought the cake to us without playing a song. We then asked if they could still play the song and they said they will. So we waited another 15 minutes with a cake on our table that was unlit waiting for the song to be played. We told the manager that we have been waiting for so long. The manager then told us that the DJ had not arrived and so could not play the song, but we were not told this at any point. We raised this point but management continued to deny accountability and continued to argue with us. Things turned for the worse when management asked security to kick out one of our guests. After arguing with security outside, they concluded that apparently they had made a mistake and had mistaken him for someone else. The whole night seemed like a mess with the way things are run and how customers are treated. From the other reviews on here and how other customers were also complaining during the night, all of this doesnt seem like a rare occurrence. Food- was ok, small portions. Only deserves one star due to the servers who seemed friendly enough. Would not recommend.
