I am absolutely delighted with my new fire and surround fitted by Steve. From the first phone call to the final visit he has been first class and happily give him 5 stars. Highly recommend Middlesex Fireplaces.

Steve is an artist; there is no other word to describe the absolutely amazing job he did at our house repairing and restoring 5 fireplaces that all were major jobs for different reasons! Having used many tradespeople over the years he was the best not only in the quality of his work, but his professionalism, knowledge, friendliness and also on price. He can get any fireplace job done and showing the finished work to experts they could not believe how amazing the restored fireplaces looked. Highly recommended!

Be wary of Steve. He seemed very helpful at the start. After reading reviews on google we decided to go with him. After a while he stopped responding to our queries(messages) He didnt have the courtesy to message about not doing our job for whatever reasons. We then realised he had added unnecessary jobs to the list that werent required which lead to higher costs to our work. ( we realised this when we got in other fireplace companies to have a look).

We would highly recommend Steve Higgins of Middlesex Fireplaces. He is very knowledgeable and offers a very professional service. Stating quite clearly that the chimney would need to be swept prior to the new fireplace and surround bring installed. Many Thanks again. Mr and Mrs Brooks
