Aldershot

It's a SWR railway station. When visited, it was clean, and the station workers were polite and helpful

I am not a chit chat person nor a staff of SWR here ...I'm not sure how some reviews are positive on here....but i have encountered only negative experiences....from having to show railcard twice a number of times (and i DID show it well and readable position) To making complaints and then the service gets even worse and losing trains and useless service staff that give plus bus tickets AFTER the train has gone and they even dare to say "you should've come earlier "...... If the damn competence levels is good from the rail manager to the staff that print tickets , is enough 10 minutes to print 2-3 damn tickets.....but is useless .....better was South West Trains services with overall.... this SWR is gone down hill completely!!

For the most part, the members of staff are very friendly. The train service to London is usually every half hour. There is a lovely cafe where one can sit and wait for one's train. (I do not know if it is still open). It is also right next to the bus station which is very handy. The man with the white beard who usually stands on the platform is awesome, extremely polite, approachable and helpful and is an absolute legend. ***I recently went to this station again and the members of staff were exceptionally nice and take the time to talk to people. There is a man who takes the train to Aldershot almost every single day and he sings quite loudly. The members of staff obviously know who he is and they engage in great banter with him. It is nice to see!!! I also added a photograph of two enthusiastic members of staff.***
