I was really pleased with the level of care that my father received. Dafinka and the team made my father feel at ease during his short-term stay. Highly recommended

My mum has been a resident at Manor Place for 18months. Very recently, she was critically ill, had it not of been for the high level care and compassion, I would have lost my mum. In addition to this, the outstanding support I myself received, from all staff and particularly Dafinka the manager, during this time, was absolutely priceless to me. There is no such thing as perfection however, I myself could not put a price on the high level of care, understanding and how they are constantly supporting my mums complex needs, from the carers, nurses and, above all it has to be said, Dafinka, the Manager. I receive weekly updates regarding my mum, moreso, if it is deemed necessary. The safeguarding, regarding my mum, has never been a cause for concern. I know that she is, alway, in safe and loving, caring hands, that is the most important thing to me.

My father has been a resident at Manor Place Care Home for just over 5 years and through the whole period the care and attention he has received has been exceptional. All the staff are always pleasant and cheerful and go above and beyond, they treat him with both care and respect and tend to his every need. When you visit they always welcome you warmly and are pleased to see you. The home is extremely well run and staffed by an excellent team who go the extra mile to make the residents as comfortable and happy as possible. You could not ask for more and we are extremely grateful for all they do.

My father was resident at Manor Place Nursing Home after a discharge from hospital when being unable to return home due to advancing dementia and lack of mobility. He was well looked after during the 32 months in residence, much of this during the Covid-19 pandemic. I was able to visit during the Covid-19 restrictions and more often after these were lifted. Staff were always friendly, polite and patient and it was a pleasure to chat during the weekly visits. I was always informed by phone when my father's condition changed or medication was altered. Inspite of the sombre nature of ageing and illness, there was always a pleasant atmosphere in the home with many events organised for the residents, a lovely garden with gazebo where we could meet and talk in the summer months and offered tea or coffee during these visits. There were Karaoke afternoons and residents were stimulated with music and televisions in all common areas. Residents were encouraged to socialise in one of the many common rooms. The food is of good quality and is tailored to the individual's needs. I would strongly recommend this nursing home as many types of ailments are catered for in a caring manner by friendly staff who are truly devoted to their work.
