Awed by the talent this guy has! We engaged Taz to take photographs on our local shoot (Beaters Day) and considering he had never been on a game shoot before, he captured the day perfectly. An evening well spent with local photographer Taz.. After a few years of having my camera and many failed attempts at night photography in Scotland and Northumberland, I really wanted to get to grips with it and have a better understanding before we head back to Scotland later this year. For my birthday my husband booked me a 1:1 tuition session with Taz so that I could learn in person rather than completing online tutorials. A few weeks back, Taz came over and we spent some time going over the basics, he talked through the key factors to consider when shooting photos at night, taz simplified everything for me and made it easy to understand. We then went out, luckily after a few days of rain the skies had cleared and it was a beautiful evening. We started down on Manningtree Beach during blue hour, Id heard of golden hour but blue hour was a new one for me. We talked through composition and the rule of 3rds, we set the camera up and Taz talked through the settings step by step which was really helpful. We took a few shots at different spots throughout Manningtree and I was really happy with the outcome. Having the in person tuition was exactly what I needed and working with Taz provided me with inspiration and left me wanting to do more. When taz mentioned he was considering doing some group tuition sessions I knew I wanted to get booked on as I was excited to learn more. The following week taz came back and we talked through the editing process using Lightroom. Again, he talked through all the different tools and showed me how each one could change a photo. Taz takes his time when explaining all the different processes and I would definitely recommend him for any photography tuition.

We hired Taz to photograph our wedding in July and were absolutely blown away with the photos he took. He captured our special day perfectly and made sure we felt comfortable whilst he did it. Not only did he take on board all of our suggestions, but also had some amazing ideas of his own that not only represented us, but also captured the feel of the venue and the day brilliantly. I think it's fair to say that Taz is one of the best wedding photographers in Essex and you will not regret booking him!

Taz is a fantastic, creative and coconscious photographer. His way of looking at a subject and bringing it to life is inspiring coupled that with attention to detail in the printing and framing, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Taz for any photography needs that you may have.
