        Excellent friendly staff, offering a true personal service. It was the first time I have visited them, my optometrist was Matt, lovely guy who is very knowledgeable and explained everything methodically. A really great experience and would definitely recommend.

        We visited here for the first time yesterday for my teenage daughters eye test. Matt was our optometrist and he was fantastic. Really professional, and for us a chair side manner is so important and Matt is superb and so friendly. We also received a very warm welcome by the receptionist. We dont live locally to this branch but had been recommended to Matt and will be using Patrick and Menzies in Manningtree from now on. Highly recommend this Opticians.

        Worth noting that many reviews relate to the old Piper & Priem practice (which I can't comment on). For me, my recent service experience at Patrick & Menzies was spot-on. Decent availability for appointments; good appointment (Matt, knowledgeable and enthusiastic) and good support with frame/lens choices. Nice to support local businesses to boot.
