Hello, my Mum and I paid a visit to Ouse Washes Rspb Reserve. And had a very good walk. After Coffee etc, we called in at the visitor centre and saw a variety of species on the feeders. Then walked south to a couple of Hides. Where we saw mainly Wigeon, Stonechat and Reed Bunting, then walked to a hide North of the Visitor centre and again popped into a hide. Lovely new and then popped back into visitor centre. Toilets were out of action, but bushes close by. It's a windy road also similar to roller coaster to visitor centre. Picnic area: Small picnic area. Benches inside visitor centre when wet weather is about.

Unfortunately, I made a 36 mile round trip for nothing. It was closed! Nobody to be seen, apart from a dog on the loose. I waited until gone 0930 and had to go home. The gates were locked too. On top of that, the road running up to it is one big assault course (potholes). Needless to say, I won't be returning.

Bit disappointed if I'm honest. Loos not working - a bit ironic next to what looks like a water treatment building. As it's a long way from anywhere the lack of loos would put me off returning. Restrooms: See above.
