        Food was absolutely superb, chorizo with maple and red wine sauce starter was gorgeous and the cottage pie with fine beans was up there with best I've eaten. The pub was clean and cozy and the service was spot on, couldn't have wished for a better start to our 3 day trip in the lakes and would highly recommend taking the trip here to sample the menu.
