I have been with this surgery for 10 years now, although over the past 2-4 years I have been more of a frequent patient. Very much hit and miss experience. They've lost a few samples which I had to re-do and told me I have been booked in and on the day I call to say nobody called me, the appointment was not on the system. So now, naturally I double check everything from appointments to requests being fulfilled. (even if this means being on hold for 30 mins for a 1 minute question/query) I have had 2 negative experiences so far with DR but I believe it may be the same one. Now I know who my preferred DR(s) is/are and request to specifically be booked with them. Appointment time generally 7-10 days. Blood results come back in 2-3 days but you are not able to see them until you speak to the DR about them (7-10 days later) - just something to be aware of if you are expecting a quicker service. If you have a suspected UTI, you are able to drop of a urine sample in the morning at the surgery without appointment, results are in by the afternoon with antibiotics prescribed the same day. Also a tip, if you require a faster appointment it may be worth asking the receptionist if there are any other appointments available at another practice which they can book you in with. I have used this service before.

Absolute joke of a place! On hold forever its ridiculous and then when you get through there is no appointments for weeks on end. Been here for years but past few years it's gone way way way downhill.

This surgery has really gone down in all areas. Since covid it's not recovered its familiar care and compassion. Now you need to constantly wait or chase up Yr prescriptions as they are not completed in a reasonable amount of time or the prescription is missing medications. I think since Dr Unwins restirement its just gone down hill. When I first joined this surgery it was so good truly family orientated and you really felt cared for and listened to... Now it feels like you are a case number not a real person, in and out. The nurses are very good and the drs I am sure are trying their best but it does lack the care and sincerity it once had
