I had a call yesterday from an Asian sounding man who was insistent I remember that they had won me a PPI refund for 1800 in 2018, now, I did have various PPI refunds, but not from this company. He asked for my permission to go ahead with the updated claim via clicking on a link, but I refused until he had given me further information via an email. I found it odd that he said they didn't have my Ema email??? But I gave it him, and he promised to forward the necessary details to me. That was 24 hours ago and I still haven't received anything. Also the number he called me from seemed to be a mobile, but when I called it, it immediately went to an answering service that said the inbox was full and no messages could be left. I then looked up the number for HYC and called it, it rang once and then the counter on my phone just counted up, and nothing more happened. He had information on me that was accurate, including the card details that I had previously owned, so I was thinking it wasn't a scam, but then I called my bank to see exactly when the refund was paid in. Oddly, the bank could only find debit payments to HYC, one for a penny, and the other for their charges. But no credit at all! Unless they credited a credit card linked to the refund, but I doubt it! Seemingly scam actions from a registered company, so I would not recommend them. If I am proven wrong I will post here again
