Never had an issue with any agency apart from this one. They pay their contractors the least compared to competitors.
Since day 1, they take ages to respond to messages and on many occasions team members have made promises of following up but haven't.
On one occasion, a client was so unprofessional and didn't assign me or another contractor sufficient work, had shared links which didn't work and didn't give clear instructions. After chasing this lady a number of times and trying to be proactive by helping out in other ways she then complained that we weren't working. This was the worst experience I've ever had. The agency sided with the client and did nothing to support either of the two contractors who had the same poor experience.
The agreement made was to be available to work from X time to Y time which me and the other contractor did. The agency instead wanted us to take a pay cut and not get paid for the time we made ourselves available. I lost so much money because of this as I had turned numerous other contracts away due to being committed to this contract.
