The food and drink were simply outstanding. I tried a few different dishes and everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The beer selection was impressive, with a wide range of local and international brews to choose from. What really stood out to me, though, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time and that all my needs were taken care of. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their customers made the experience truly memorable. Overall, I would highly recommend this Victorian Inn to anyone looking for a great meal, a great drink, and a great time. If you want to experience the best of English pub culture, then this is the place to be!

Spacious pub in the Burnage area of Manchester. Got there about 8pm on a Saturday night. Very busy but still room to be seated. Bar staff were plentiful, efficient and friendly without being over the top or false. The draught Boddingtons was delicious. The toilets were clean and well stocked with soap and toilet roll. The driers worked. ( Not always a given) . There was live music with Kieran Cunningham's Quare Craic. Actor/Musician Kieran is well known for his eclectic mix of traditional and modern ballads ( mainly Irish) served up with heaps of country and western standards. All in all a terrific night out, and a lot of credit for this must go to the landlord and his staff. I've not been to the Vic for around 7/8 years and while it was never a 'bad ' pub, it has been turned into a ' must visit ' pub the next time I'm in Manchester. A big thanks to the staff and to the landlord, especially for the large glass of "pep " to cure my post prandial dyspepsia.
