We had a dreadful experience with this company. We had an issue with our shower hot/cold mix. They advised that we would need a non return valve and a thermostatic mixer tap - we had both installed and the pressure of the water drastically reduced (and they could not explain why). They told us we would need a pump, but couldnt do this themselves because they didnt currently have an electrician. We paid for this service but the shower pressure was worse than ever (granted, the temperature mix was fine but it was a drizzle). We had a separate issue with our toilet cistern, so went to another company to fix this - and were advised by this plumber to get back in touch with City Centre Maintenance because it would seem like there was a fault on their behalf. We asked them to come back and they said they would charge us if there was no fault - fine. A plumber then returned and said it could be resolved with a diverter, but then we were then told by his senior that he was incorrect. At a loss, we asked a friend to drive from Leeds to give us a 3rd opinion - he found debris in the pipe and an air lock, and fixed the pressure. When the bill arrived from City Centre Maintenance, we explained the situation and sent a photo of the issue, however because this wasnt completed by a company (instead by a friend doing us a favour after witnessing the stress this was causing), they insisted we paid for their final visit where they missed the problem entirely.
