Let me begin by saying the staff did theyre best. However the food was heart stopping. LITTERALLY, I have never sat in a restaurant that relied on a gimmick more then this restaurant. American pies is delicious, if you havent eaten anywhere else. The crust of the pizza resembles the quiche I made in food tech when I was 14. I have never seen so many plates left for disposal by couples in my life. I went for a meal with the boys and I was dissatisfied, and Im fat, lazy and live the lifestyle of a degenerate. Yet trust my opinion when it comes to food I dont look like this for no reason. Still I have a good bit of money and I felt I had wasted mine here. Two out of ten on a Friday night.

Honestly, I was incredibly excited to try this place and then I was incredibly let down when I did. I wanted this review to be nice but I'm going to struggle so stay with me on this. The ambiance of restaurant is dead. The furniture is poor quality and the chairs are uncomfortable. The lighting was poor and the atmosphere in general felt like that of a poor craft brewery/bar. Really unsure who this is meant to be aimed at? As we were shown to our seats we instantly had a (the only) server try and discuss the menu but he spoke so fast before disappearing. When he returned to get our drinks orders he was fine. Then we tried to ask about the meal choice and got given a bit of an uncomfortable glare (as though we spat at him). The question was simple "can we get the sauces/dips on the side of the nachos rather than on top"? And we got the reply of "well yeah I guess so?". As you may have guessed, we ordered the nachos (advertised as fried pizza dough nachos with steak and cheese). Fair assumption that nachos, much like all other nachos, would be CRISPY AND THIN. Not the case. These were topped with chimichurri, chili's and spring onion (not mentioned on the menu anywhere) and the nachos were made of thick pizza dough and soft and soggy. Think triangle sponges. We finished less than half of the meal. The steak on the nachos was actually very flavourful but there was no sharp knives to cut anything. We were never asked how our food was and then when we got the bill we saw a "Carbon free dining" charge and a "gratuity charge". There was no need for either, especially the gratuity charge since we weren't really treated kindly and honestly wouldn't have left a tip. If you are looking for a cheesy, carby, flavourful hit there are plenty of better places but I truly could not advise you go here just based off our experience tonight
