We booked in here the night before the Manchester Marathon for 8:15, arrived on time only to be told it would be a 1 hour wait for food due to having "multiple large groups". The time was late enough already, so we had to leave and try to find a quick bite to eat - not ideal preparation. If they had large bookings they should have notified us of the delay in advance, not allowing us to arrive only to drop the news on us there and then. Poor service with no thought for customers - one unhappy runner with a hankering for some pre-race carbs
