I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Gohar, Zoe and the rest of the team. I was diagnosed with severe dry eyes, which has meant that I wasnt able to wear standard contact lenses and didnt want a lifetime of wearing my high prescription glasses. I came across Dixons opticians after searching online. Rather snobbishly, on observing the outer appearance of the premises, I wasnt expecting much. However, they have a comprehensive range of amazing gadgets, to facilitate closer inspection of the cornea, retina, glands in the eyelids and other aspects of the eye. Additionally, Gohar took a comprehensive medical and eye history ( my eye history is long and complex). Gohar is an incredibly competent and caring practitioner, who is passionate about helping people. I was also impressed by Zoe and the other reception team. They all went above and beyond, especially Gohar and I am happy to report that my new mini scleral lenses have been life changing. The clarity of my vision has been fantastic ( 20/20); something that I couldnt have achieved with standard contact lenses and they have helped manage my symptoms of dry eye. I had liased with a consultant ophthalmologist, specialising in dry eyes, independent of the clinic, but hadnt found his recommendations and treatment options as effective as Gohars; though his intentions were to help. I dont think that I have ever written as long a review, in my life, but I will definitely be a customer of Dixons opticians for life.

What can I say, an absolutely outstanding service from the entire team at Dixon Optometrists. My last opticians I went to (specsavers) were incredibly rude to me and I left crying. This made me nervous to see another optician again. However, my faith has been restored after visiting Dixon! I particularly want to thank Gohar. His expertise on eyes are next level. He spent a lot of time with me explaining my eyes, how we can prevent them getting worse and made me feel at ease. Gohar even sent me an email with information and research on my eyes. I just cannot believe such a great team exists. There was no pressure to buy; Gohar is genuinely interested in patient wellbeing and health over sales. I also appreciated the teams honesty when choosing glasses. The lady who was with me spent amble time choosing glasses with me, and was honest when a frame didn't look right with my facial features! She wanted to make sure I left looking my best! What more can you ask for from an amazing team! I'll never go to another optometrists again! You have a patient for life here!

Just used Dixons for an eye test and new glasses. I have to say they have been exceptional in every department. Very friendly and extremely professional service. I whole heartedly recommend them.

I would recommend Dixons in Reddish. Today I had an appointment and found the team to be professional, reassuring and clearly passionate about their work and profession. Everyone was personable and went to lengths to make customers feel comfortable and at ease.
