When we started our PhDs we discarded the idea of getting a mortgage because our stipends wouldn't be accepted. Jamie proved this was not the case. Jamie did an excellent job of finding us a mortgage. I am on a PhD stipend and my partner is soon to finish his PhD with a new job to begin once he finishes. Jamie had obtained a decision in principle within 24 hours of meeting us, and then was very quick to sort out our mortgage once we had an offer accepted.
