I started working at Assist and Care 2 years ago. I am now working as part of the on call team. The company provide training every step of the way. The management team here are wonderful and very supportive. They are always on hand if any help be needed whether it is work related or personal. I have worked through the pandemic and it gives me great satisfaction knowing that i can make a difference in someones life. I also have a very good work/life balance due to the flexibility of my job role. If you a considering a career in the care sector i highly recommend Assist and Care.

finding a job while studying can be difficult. But with a simple email I came across assist and care. Id explained that Im studying health and social care and needed a work placement. I was offered an interview and thankfully I got the job. My first ever job in care work. I live my job and my clients. I have grown as a person and gained so much confidence. The hours for me are perfect too. I gave my availability and Im given the days/hours that Im available. Ive never known flexibility like it with such a demanding role. Caring comes naturally to me and I hope I can progress even further within my career. This job has opened so many doors and opportunities for me. Also its like being 1 big family. Some of our clients have no family at all. So knowing the rewarding job you do and companionship you give to each of your clients you take home such warmth in you heart. I love my job and I will never look back now.
