I bought my Laptop from this shop around 8 years ago; It was custom made to my spec and at a very resonable price! Any problems I've had since then have been dealt with very efficiently and still at a very reasonable price. The service has always been friendly and honest and Ocan has great knowledge of computers. I will continue to highly recommend PC Casualty to anyone!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I paid a lot of money for a screen repair, they said it would take a day or 2 and it took over a week, with me having to constantly call and check up - they never made an effort to contact me. A day after I got the laptop back the screen fell off, Don't waste your time and money here.

Something i'd like to add to the previous review by mike faraday is that not only did he take days to tell me my laptop was unfixable, but he was also very persistent on me giving him my laptop when speaking over the phone, and got impatient with me when I said I wanted to pick the laptop up and kept insisting I didn't. I eventually said i'll think about it and come in to the store soon and hung up. I Went in an hour nd half later, but he couldn't argue with me much because: 1. There were 2 other customers present. And 2. I took my friend mike with me this time who knows a little thing or two about laptops, and questioned his diagnosis, he then struggled to respond without contradicting everything he'd already said. He then said if you want your laptop back you need to come back in 20mins because its still in loads and loads of pieces. We were worried that he wouldnt give it to us without the presence of other customers so we asked for it back in pieces, however it wasn't in loads of pieces at all, just two. My friend then fixed it with a device costing 5 on Amazon Prime which arrived the following day. Now, everything's as good as new, apart from the many missing screws PC Casualty failed to return to me making the laptop a little loose. I will now have to order some screws. So all in all awful customer service, incapable technical skills, time waster, and a thief. Id give 0 stars if google would allow. I have never written a negative review before as I believe in room for errors, however in this instance, I believe everyone should be warned. Especially since it is a student area, and most students can't financially afford to be robbed like this.

My friend took her laptop into this place to be repaired. There was a fault with the hard drive connector on the motherboard which the store owner correctly diagnosed, however he attempted to convince us that the laptop was beyond repair and was little use beyond spares for him. What he did not suggest was replacing the DVD drive with a second hard drive caddy and installing the hard drive there. A new laptop would have set my friend back roughly 500. The hard drive caddy in place of the DVD drive cost 5 and brought the machine back to life. I would not recommend PC Casualty.
