I wanted to take a moment to send a huge Thank you to Laura Broome, who acted on my behalf at Nottingham Crowne court throughout 2021 when the prison failed to produce me on two occasions, via video link in 2021 and for my sentencing in December 2022 which went on for four days. I faced charges of possession with intent to supply class A x2 and a charge of Conspiracy to Convey list A and B articles into HMP as well as Dangerous driving. Lauras representation saw me walk away with a community order of 3 years and a driving ban of 1 year. Despite the severity of the offences I faced and the fact there was multiple offences. I wanted to thank and review her for not only my outcome. Also for the dedication and professionalism she shows to her clients and her job. For all the video links, constant explaining, reassuring and advising that happens before a trial or sentencing and also for turning up to court every single time. On time, while not actually having to do so. As I wasnt being presented by the prison. For always finding time to be available over video link to answer any questions and ease any anxieties. Throughout the entire time of having her represent me. She remained honest and sincere in her interactions with me. Allowing me to feel comfortable enough to open up about the situation at hand, my life, mistakes, upbringing and relationships. Laura was confident, articulate, educated. passionate and straight up the point while in court. Despite probably being the youngest there, you heard her the most and she had the full attention of the court room and judge when she spoke. Laura is the soul reason I received the outcome I did. Which I couldnt be happier with! Thank you. I would recommend her to anyone and if I ever end up in any situations ever again, I would 100% rely on her representation.
