I was recommended this solicitors by someone who used them a few years ago and looking at the reviews they seemed decent... Got a quote from Mike back in June - very quick speedy response when they wanted our money of course. A few weeks later, after I had paid a deposit, I still didn't receive a response back and when I did - it was from someone called Julie telling me that Mike had left and that she would now be dealing with us. Again, a week passed and I was not receiving a response from Julie. I called the office and I was told someone would call me back soon (never received calls back). Umer was then apparently dealing but in the words of my estate agent "It seems he doesn't know what he is doing". Every time I spoke with him, he said he would do something by a certain date... that date came and it would be extended until the week after. VERY FRUSTRATING. Umer was also sending me emails from "Kate's" email address (very professional). I was then passed onto a new person called Adnan who was just as awful as the rest and communication was POOR to the point myself and my estate agent were hounding them with calls trying to get a date for exchange and chasing things. So, we finally moved into the house in October and then in November received an email from Nathan (the 5th person we have now been passed along to) raising issues with our mortgage deed and sending it back out to us to be re-signed and questioning the ownership type ect.. something that we sorted a couple of months back now?! (clearly been lost somewhere). Anyway, thank god we don't have that stress anymore... but just in case you are thinking of paying these guys . DON'T.
