We thought this was a fine dining restaurant and booked Sangam after a few months of not dining out so was really looking forward to this treat. Traveled 50 miles after booking a reservation.Their was a group of 4 before my family and they hadn't booked but the manager stood them to the side and told them they'd get seated asap. When it was our turn the manager made us wait for our table at the back near the toilets, which I thought I would take the opportunity and change my babies nappy. The toilet had a nappy changing facility but was very poor, very unhygienic and not safe I ended up having to change my babies nappy standing up. When we got seated their was no highchair (even though it was booked at reservation) Despite having 2 babies with us we were seated without highchairs and right in front of the kitchen which was very hazard. The ambience was very loud, rowdy and not classy at all. A waiter took our order after having to shout out for one. We needed assistance for varies reasons to which the waiter responded it's a Saturday night and we're very busy you've chosen a bad day to come! I was in disbelief and felt immediately it was a bad choice to come out on a Saturday night because this restaurant is too busy to cater for a small family!?? My husband ordered for starters a mixed platter and an extra starter which we thought was a LOT of food. When it arrived we thought it was the wrong order, their was barely any food on the plate! Again for the mains it was bitesize and we left the restaurant with a half filled tummy. The bill was ridiculous considering the snacksize portion. The quality in the food was okay. When leaving one of the waiters followed us out of the door thanking us for coming and to visit again soon but told us not to come on the weekend!!! The cheek! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE KIDS, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!
