        Rooms were clean, double bed very soft (prefer firm but its a matter of preference) we found it quiet which was surprising as the Lodge also has a bar which was busy so it was good that we didnt hear any noise at all. Lovely view of woodlands with fields beyond the carpark which was opposite our window (no nets on window though). The reception staff were friendly. Unfortunately, there was only ONE bath towel between two people. In fairness, we didn't request a 2nd one as it was late, but we told the receptionist next morning on departure, and we could have requested another. We were visiting family 20 mins from lodge. It was in a quiet location, free parking, reasonably priced and not too far to get to the centre of Manchester.
