Shake Bee

If I hadnt had my expectations raised so high by the reams of articles and endless hype of Shake Bee, I likely wouldnt have felt so disappointed by our experience there. Dont get me wrong there was nothing explicitly wrong with the food. I just cannot and will not believe that this is the best spicy chicken burger in Manchester. We paid something like 5.75 each for a spicy chicken burger with cheese, chips, drink and sauces. The burger was massive and really (temperature) hot, it felt like good quality chicken although I cant imagine it ever could be at such a reasonable price. Spicey sauce was perfect hotness for me, chips were good too. Feel like I am either missing something about the chicken shop wars, or Shake Bee is just overhyped - wont be rushing back anytime soon!

Opening time is 12:30pm and I have been waiting outside the shop to get lunch but still not open. Disappointed after hearing such good things.

Was recommended to go here as Miamis was extremely busy, burger tasted the same if not better. No more Miamis for me. 2nd visit - Burger was extremely spicy, couldnt enjoy it.

Heard positive things about this place so I thought i'd check it out. Burger is a good size. Unfortunately taste wise burger was quite soggy, not crispy and it was on the salty side rather than spicy. Again I've heard positive things about this place so it might have been the case they had on off day.
