My daughter started at this nursery in May when she was 7 months old and she has just turned one. She has progressed in so many ways that I feel i just wouldnt be able to do at home. She is confident around new people and eager to make friends both in nursery and when I take her out. I am more than happy with the feedback I get from staff on collection and have never had any issues with any staff. I like the fact that the door is fingerprint entry which ensures the safety of the children. Keep up the hard work ladies, its certainly paying off

I worked there as a trainee practitioner as part of my child care course. I received a lot of support from New Amigoes team during my course. My manager was very supportive and always helped me when I needed. I always felt valued by the whole nursery team and my colleagues were all very nice and friendly. They always asked me how I was getting on with everything and it felt like they did really care. During the interview session for my placement at the nursery, my manger praised me for always having a smile on my face. She said that she prefers people who speak with a smile as happy people can easily create a happy environment for the children. So, at the very first meeting, she made me so comfortable that I always enjoyed my time working in the nursery. This nursery has effective systems in place to ensure that practitioners, and any other person who is likely to have regular contact with children (including those living or working on the premises), are suitable. All the staffs have to gone through criminal record checks and barred list checks. All staff must be given child safeguarding training, including training on the settings policies and procedures, and also induction training that covers other areas such as equality and diversity and health & safety. I also had gone through these procedures before I could start my placement at the nursery. I learned more from my colleagues than from my course how to look after children, how to create positive environment for children and about health and safety. My colleagues always helped to understand any difficult topic in my course and showed me how to apply and follow guidelines of the course in actual work field. I never panicked for anything as I always knew that everyone there would try their best to help me if I need. One thing I must mention that I am very impressed how this nursery takes care of children, especially how they have designed mealtime for children. They ensure that mealtimes should be a happy, social occasion for children; with positive interactions shared and enjoyed. The nursery is committed to offering children healthy, nutritious and balanced meals and snacks which meet their individual needs and requirements. They obtain information about any special dietary requirements, preferences and food allergies that a child may have, and any special health requirements, before the child starts at the setting. The nursery intends to provide a balanced diet with ample fruits and vegetables alongside tasty hot meals. They aim to provide a balanced, nutritious and varied menu, which is appealing and appetising to all of the children in the care. The journey of creating the current menu has been a long one and the nursery change it ever so often depending on children's needs, likes, nutritional guidelines set by Setting the table document from the NHS and an overall balance. Thank you everyone at New Amigoes Nursey. It would not have been possible to successfully complete my course without your help.

A lovely nursery and team to match! Aoife was warm and welcoming from day one and she continues to be. The nursery is bright, airy and spacious and the garden gets a double thumbs up from my son. Its a great place for encouraging development while also feeling rest assured my child is in good hands and is well looked after. To my surprise this nursery has decided to acknowledge Ramadan by allowing children to come dressed in traditional attire, and also by inviting outside help to teach the kids the meaning of this Muslim tradition. The idea of diversity is forever apparent and im glad my son will be made aware of other ethnic groups, faiths and traditions - Thanks New Amigos!

I pur my son in this nursery temporarily as we were living in the area short term. I was concerned as my son had an element of speech delay. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went over and above their way to make my son feel welcome and cared for. I always received alot of feedback each time I went to collect him as to what he had been doing and how he had settled. You will not be displeased by putting your child in this nursery. We were sad to have .To say good-bye! Thank you esp to Aoife (Manager) and Sarah who looked after my son primarily. We will miss you all!
