I had an appointment today to view a property to let at 11:30 am. They called me at 10:00 am the same day to confirm. At 11:35 nobody was at the place of the appointment so I called the agency. They told me that the appointment was cancelled and that they left me a voice message. I actually received a voice message at 11:05 (when I already was on my way) telling me just that "the appointment for flat 8 was cancelled". They did not mention the address of the flat and the day of the appointment. This is very disappointing because when someone is searching for a flat it is supposed that she is viewing more than once per week. Please finding a new home and moving is already very stressful, try to treat your client more as human being and not just a source of money.

Richmond Properties changed their name on google to try and hide the bad reviews. I was a tenant a few years ago, viewings with no notice, refused to fix maintenance issues. Staff were rude and once referred to me as a spoilt petulant child on the phone - I asked if viewings could possibly be rearranged as I would be on night shifts and needing to sleep that day - I am a Dr at the hospital. They lied about maintenance coming to fix issues and said I was not home when I was. Horrible company with horrible attitude. Cowboys focused on exploiting tenants for money and trying to steal deposits.

Without a doubt the worst renting experience I ever had. A long list of issues from start to finish and the rudest team Ive ever met. Continuous finger pointing during every maintenance issue such as wasp nests , mould , moving in with broken furniture (the list goes on). Once they entered the flat for a viewing with zero notice. Another time the man running the viewing told me I was lay around in bed all day when my shift had finished at 5am the same morning.

Please, I beg for the sake of your health, safety and sanity DO NOT go through this agency. We were consistently ignored about our concerns which eventually resulted in me getting seriously poorly. The flat we lived in was RIDDEN with black mould. We emailed time and time again with no response or action taken. Were currently pursuing a claim though a solicitor due to the amount of damage to our belongings, health and mental well-being living there put us through. We were blamed for their negligence over and over whenever they would eventually respond. They failed to give or prove landlords details, which inevitably made us feel helpless. When we took it to the local MP, the landlord basically told us that he didnt need the rent and that money didnt meant anything to him and we could move out whenever we want This agency is corrupt and dangerous and if you work for Richmond property then SHAME ON YOU!
