We've been working with the Manchester team for around 5 years now and couldn't be happier with the many services they provide us with. As a small business they have guided us as we've grown. Julie Pomfret has been wonderful and supported us throughout with regular catch ups and meetings to discuss business performance, personal tax planning and advice on profit extraction to name just a few services. Using Xero, we're able to keep track of the numbers but draw on the expertise of Rob Pooley when we need additional support. Not only helping us navigate VAT returns, accountancy queries and software guidance but also recently providing cash flow forecasts to help us focus on the business in tough trading conditions. We also utilise their brilliant payroll team who provide us with a seamless service, month on month. The team deliver a highly professional yet friendly service and we we trust them wholeheartedly with all of the accountancy needs of our business.

Much like other reviewers, we have been using Haines Watts for over 25 years. We are aware that some people prefer not to deal with larger companies for their accountancy services, but for the whole time we have been served admirably, and solely, by Julie and Caroline. To us it seems that Haines Watts runs like a small, almost family style business. We can honestly state that whenever we have contacted them either by phone or email the matter has been dealt with within a very short time frame. When we moved our accounts over to Xero, Caroline was a lifesaver and always so pleasant when we had queries...so many queries!..., even months later. Having just sold our business it has made us appreciate them even more with their almost instant replies to our buyer's accountant's questions on so many occasions. They really stepped up when time was of the essence. Costwise, we have always found them reasonable too, and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a reliable, approachable and professional accountant.
