There are one or two great doctors and some really lovely staff here, but the running of this place is absolutely appalling. I have too much to say, but fundamentally the management has to be held responsible. I could catalogue many errors, some serious and some less so, but it would take too long and is mainly too personal. There is clearly something really not working here. It doesn't help that some of the staff who manage the front desk are very unsuitable to such a position of responsibility.... I've even experienced unprovoked nastiness... This has been my experience for nearly 20 years. Not for much longer I hope. I plan to move elsewhere.

Today I was expecting a doctors telephone appointment made 10 days ago. It never came. I rang the surgery to be told it's on the 2nd May. That's 4 weeks away. 6 weeks from my original call. When I asked is it normal to wait 6 weeks for an appointment was advised it was only 4 weeks away.....starting from today. Maybe you do have to wait 6 weeks but I somehow doubt it. Still in pain. Still almost housebound....and only 4 weeks to wait for a phone consultation.

Practice has their good and bad days and its not easy to get an appointment and if you do, consider yourself lucky. I have been with this practice for 4 months now to deal with my mental health issues but my GP has been gaslighting me from my first phone appointment to my last F2F app. Furthermore, little to no attention for my mental health/physical health and suggested 1 tablet for all my problems which i pointed out to him and he agreed that its not the solution and yet the audacity of this man to steer clear without providing actual concerns. I dont know if hes taken me for a muppet and made the whole experience a palaver for me. Im stuck with no progress and 3 months wasted, leaving with more issues than when i joined him and now seeking genuine help away from this place. I would not recommend Mr Siebert Martin to anyone but i hope you get into good hands.
