We had always heard about the Minhaj Ul Quran Foundation so thought that today would be a good idea to see what their staff and students are like.
The staff (organisers) themselves were extremely rude, they were full of pride and arrogance and were snapping back at the ladies in the audience. Dont think there was a single member of staff who was welcoming and actually had a smile on their face.
The worst part of the whole conference was that pictures were being taken of the female audience without permission. There were some members of staff who had a professional camera and some which were using their mobile phones to take pictures but not once did they ask anyone for permission. Some ladies had their niqabs off but the staff showed no respect towards them and carried on taking pictures.
Naats were being recited with the duff (a type of drum) being played in the background and the sound of bells as well playing with the drum, surely this is completely going against the teachings of Islam and is imitating the acts of disbelievers.
I was going to start sending my kids to their evening madrasah however, after seeing the attitude of the staff today and the way they were behaving, it has completely changed my perspective of them in a negative way and I would not recommend them to anyone else.
