Visited to ring the bells. The church was built around 1870 is very impressive when seen from the front. The current church, Grade II listed, was commissioned by Robert Peacock and each of the eight bells are named after members of the Peacock family. The eight bells were cast in 1932 by Gillett & Johnston of Croydon. The tenor bell weighs 13-2-0 (686kg) and is tuned to F. They are rung from the first floor of the tower.
