AVOID - quite possibly the WORST restaurant experience I've ever had. I'm amazed this place is rated 3.9. More details below, but in summary: - Very overpriced - Poor food quality - The worse service - Tacky decor We ordered a Pinwei Platter to start, to be followed by 2 mains and 3 sides. When the platter was dropped to the table, I had to wait about 5 mins to get the attention of the staff to ask for cutlery. Considering it cost 23, the portions were miniscule. Two small triangles of prawn toast, two spring rolls, two small satay skewers, a handful of seaweed in the middle, and two of the most meatless ribs you'll ever see, just pure fat and bone. Before our starters were cleared from the table, my fiance's main and one side was dropped to the table. We were on a large round table, and the waitress left the dish and the sizzling plate out of our reach bizarrely. The fried rice was absolutely drenched in oil, and you could see the oil deposits in the satay sauce too. For 15 mins I sat there trying to get the attention of staff to ask where my main and the other two sides were. In that time, I had a look around the room to take in the cheap, mis-mash decor. Half-working flashing lights etc. Everyone's dirty plates are thrown into a large bucket (loudly) which is perched on a trolley in the middle of the room. DISGUSTING. Eventually we got a waitresses attention. I asked for two more drinks and asked where the rest of our meal was. She ran off, came back 2 mins later and asked something along the lines of "do you still want it?". We said yes. Another 15 mins passed. No sign of the drinks or the rest of our order. My fiance's meal had gone cold at this stage. We complained to the manager who was by no means overly apologetic ("sorry about that"). She tried to charge us full price for everything we got, including the final two drinks that were not given to us. When we refused to pay for my fiance's main, which she didn't eat and had gone cold waiting for everything else, the response was "but you did get that?". As if we should be grateful they remembered 40% of our actual order. We left with a sour taste in our mouths and empty bellies, and went to McDonald's for a much nicer meal
