The Cave MCR

Nes was absolutely excellent! She spent almost 4.5 hours on my balayage and the results are incredible, the photo does NOT do it justice! I nearly fell asleep 3 times because it was so relaxing, and the price to quality ratio of this salon is exceptional, and this was not my first time here! 12/10 would recommend to a friend!

As someone who travels extensively, and generally feeling uninspired to commit to regular grooming I end up having treatments at a variety of salons in far flung places, often at the last minute ! This means I can forgive a lot ( the therapist has no idea of my peccadillos and cant be blamed for not knowing what works for me and what doesn't.) It also means that I have an awful lot of "one of" experiences that are, kindly put, subpar! I booked treatments at this salon, not realising that The Cave was not in central Manchester and was very concerned as I was having things done for a wedding I was attending in central Manchester the next day. So I went to the salon the day before and they were so accommodating and they completely adjusted my treatments, despite being within the 24 hour cut off and I could not have been happier. The salon is small and tight but it is filled with a friendly, charming, funny and switched on crew, which was like one big multi-generational and multi-national, happy family. ( It made me think, this would be a great basis for a reality show!) Sonia, a fantastic Persian woman, gave me a fabulous facial and then did my eyelash extensions which were exactly as I wanted them; Natural and non-spidery! They lasted 3 weeks and did not irritate as some often can. She radiated warmth, enthusiasm, professionalism and kindness. If I lived in Manchester, I would make it my regular spot for grooming, despite the fact that it was (for me) off the beaten track. My apologies to Sonia being so late in writing this review!
