I would not even give 1 star if possible as I didn't even have my treatment which was booked for laminate brows. I have never been more appalled in my life at the lack of customer service that I experienced. Despite the salon cancelling my initial appointment due to someone being off work, I rearranged to another time and date that would suit the salon, which was arranged during my lunch break at work (which I must add, is very valuable to me). I arrived at the salon to find no reception. It took over 20 minutes before I was even acknowledged by a member of staff, which made me extremely uncomfortable given that my eyebrows were meant be completed in a 30 minute slot. The lady finally came over and abruptly asked if I had any ideas about how I wanted the result to look, to which I showed her a picture of someone I know. The response to this was laughable in itself and again was quite unsettling prior to receiving a treatment 'this is photoshopped', 'she is a model', 'they won't look like that'. Great service selling there. The time clocked on and at this point I was getting more irate and had already decided I no longer was interested in receiving the treatment. It was 1:55pm (appointment was arranged for 1:30pm) before finally it was now my turn for a treatment. Absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand how someone thinks that that is acceptable. It was completely disrespectful to my time during a very tight and busy schedule that I work on. Without getting into the details, I am giving feedback in order to warn people to maybe do research before booking treatments with salons and maybe take a look at their work/results prior as this was something I am guilty of not doing before I booked.

Awful experience. After getting what can only be described as torture, my friend came out of "beauty on the square" in destress and in pain. The eye lashes which were placed on were a mess and when she tried to get them to rectify the problem they refused as the time costs them money. Wouldn't let them put eye lashes on a plastic doll. Horrific.

Very disappointed with my recent treatment at Beauty of n the Square. Despite not being satisfied with the Luxury Microdermabrasion there were some basics missing which should come as standard with any treatment especially when you are paying 55 and it is marketed as luxury. I feel the therapist was more focused on up-selling than getting the basics spot on such as . Offering a refreshment . Putting a Headband on me to avoid products caught up in my hair . Putting Used cotton pads straight in the bin rather than next to my head. To name but a few I did contact the salon before posting this review in the hope that my concerns could be addressed; however, the therapist was informative in offering me the google definition of microdermabrasion- which isnt patronising at all!!! Also, hold no responsibility for the basics where missed. When I highlighted I wasnt offered my complimentary glass of Prosecco, instead of apologising I was told it was because I didnt show my ID, although I was never asked for my ID. A glass of water would have been nice, however, I wasnt offered that either, and I dont believe ID is required for that. All in all, some fundamental things were missing to provide that luxury client experience, and when I approached the salon to highlight the issues, instead of an apology they were dismissive. A real shame and for 55 you can defiantly get that luxury treatment in other city centre salons.
