Generally love this bar, the bartenders are nice and atmosphere. However recently the music has gone really down hill. I used to go here and be able to listen to loads of emo and metal bangers which is what makes the venue so great. However, the last couple of weekends I have gone they have been playing really generic music that you would find in any normal venue. Its really disappointing and really kills the mood of the bar. It perplexes me why the venue would do this because their whole thing is that they are an alternative dive bar. Every time I have asked them if they could change the music up the bartenders have been unable to help. I wish they would continue to do what made so many Mancs fall in love with JJs in the first place, rather than going mainstream
