        I had an appointment to open a 5 year fixed rate bond at 4.66%. I waited 2 weeks for the appointment. I completed the paperwork and the rate was added on the application form. I got a call 4 hours later to say the rate is dropping to 4.25% and I would be getting the new rate. I cancelled the application there and then. This is appalling customer service. I could understand if the rate dropped before I completed my application but certainly not afterwards. I will not be using this bank again because Ive lost trust in them.
