It's really hard to find professionals who aren't just after the bottom line. My family's property was converted into a 3-unit flat some 15-odd years ago, and we just found out that we apparently didn't have the right Planning or Building Control approvals for the conversion. I was looking for a professional to handle the whole process, and get us the right approvals. My cousin's partner found Charlie online and said Charlie seemed to be the most honest of the quotes he got. We're still in the process, but Charlie has lived up to the hype so far. He was patient and talked me through all my options. If you're looking for an honest, patient and knowledgeable architect, I would definitely recommend Holtbeck.

Charles has been excellent from day 1. He offered a very competitive price and was available to offer a lot of advice before starting. He took time out to visit us, has an excellent eye for detail and created really unique plans for our extension. Happy to answer my queries very quickly and adapt drawings accordingly. He is continuing to support us with structural drawings after getting our planning approved. Could not recommend enough. Great first class service. Thank you.

Charlie has been very helpful and informative. I appreciated honest advice and suggestions. With his advice it helped me make the right decision to not continue with my extension project. If your clueless like me and know you just want an extension, then Charlie would give you lots of advice and things to think about before jumping into finding a builder that could end up costing more if not compliant. So I would definitely recommend and would use again if needed. Thank you
