The apartment do not provide 24 hours front desk service anymore, which makes parcel collection quite difficult in this apartment (lack of basic service).

The apartment management team is not sufficiently professional and is adept at making demands of residents but lacking in efficiency. The rate at which rent increases in this apartment exceeds that of most other apartments in Manchester, leaving tenants unable to predict their future rental costs and even at risk of being forced to move.

The building is quite clean and nice to live in. The concierge is friendly, especially Wael & Bader.

Ive been living in Burlington for a year now, and I can say that Im generally happy with the residency. The building has many positives: It is new and very clean. The reception is very nice inside and always warm. There are also places to study, a gym, and a communal kitchen. You can also collect your parcel at any time throughout the day and there is always someone at the reception to help you. Wael (a receptionist at Burling Square) has helped me with every single issue Ive had, and is always polite and eager to help. I always hope hes the one behind the desk when something goes wrong. The location is also very important. I am a medical student at Manchester Medical School and being so close to the Main Campus and the library is extremely important to me. It is just 10 minutes by foot. The building has its negatives too. The first one is that even though its new - many things keep needing maintenance. This means that appliances are not of the best quality. The refrigerator stopped working 3 months after I moved in, and the shower after 5 months. This brings us to the next issue, which is maintenance. You can never get anything fixed without following up with Burlington EVERY SINGLE DAY for about 6 months until the managers decide to do something about it (only after you threaten them). Again, the receptionists were the only ones actually helping resolve these issues. I think that maintenance aside Burlington square is a nice place to live. I would recommend it for students.
