What do we want from a photographer on our wedding day? Well I wanted someone who got how important certain moments were to me... I wanted someone who was going to communicate the energy of the day. I wanted someone who could quietly get on with telling our story. Well, I got all that from Kevin. The result is I now have around 300 images printed and temporarily stuck to my fridge door because I can't figure out which ones I want to print big... they are so many to choose from. Yes there are a lot of photographers to choose from out there... but actually, when it comes down to it... on your wedding day, you want to surround yourself with decent, good, kind suppliers who care about your story beyond the 10 hours they give you on the day and with whom you can have a real connection, human to human.

I started shooting weddings about 4-5 years ago. With little confidence and very little awareness of the wedding industry. I signed up to a year's 1-2-1 with him and since then, I regularly top up my CPD with portfolio reviews to make sure I provide my customers with the best possible service. As a mentor, Kevin is patient, constructive, very generous with his time and always on point. In the period of 5 years, I have built a solid photography business with a solid platform with a predicted turnover of 60-70k this financial year. This has happened because I have put in an insane amount of work in, absolutely, but it has also happened because Kev gave me an excellent platform from which to evolve. I avoided many teething problems thanks to him and still now, his advice enables me to approach my work with a healthy business acumen but also with kindness and integrity towards my customers and with passion towards my craft. You want to get into wedding photography? Don't invest all your money in gear. Invest it in learning. And most importantly, invest in a learning with someone who you can trust and who empowers you to fulfil your potential.

What can I say ! Kevin is one of the best Wedding Photographers in the UK. Also his knowledge and enthusiasm for Fujifilm cameras is second to none. Kevin is simply one of the best documentary Wedding Photographers around and also one of the best workshop leaders. A true gentleman and professional.

We booked Kevin for our wedding photographer as I wanted a documentary style photographer. Kevin did not disappoint! He was unobtrusive, in fact we hardly knew he was there, but captured the essence of our wedding perfectly. Looking through the gallery transported us back to the actual day which was just what we wanted. His shots are clever, natural and sometimes quirky which for us was the perfect combination. I wish Kevin, I had booked you for the whole evening instead of just one hour after the first dance. Thank you so much.
