Maldon Taxis

If I could put no stars I would. Booked in the morning and didnt turn up ! Never use them again.

Terrible experience. Booked 2 taxis 2 ways, to be picked up at 1.45 in Maldon to Basildon. Second taxi was 25 mins late to pick up. On the way to Basildon, I was told by the driver that the price would be more that we agreed as he had other bookings come in for more money? Either way, needed picking up at 4.30, got several calls and texts at 4pm asking when we were ready, I said it would be 4.30. The driver then left and left us with 1 5 seater car (there were 11 of us, we had booked 2 7 seaters for this reason). Upon needing pickup and calling, he said we could do 3 trips (this would take at least an hour and a half!) we were on a stag do and had other activities lined up so this wasn't an option. The owner then said to give the 5 seater driver the rest of the money (paid for over half the trip on the first journey) and book an uber for the rest. Ended up telling the guy to leave, and just booked 2 7 seater ubers which ended up cheaper. Terrible experience, better off getting the bus.
