        We attended the Maldon Smokehouse recently and though service was prompt, the food left a lot to be desired. I had the Mediterranean Fish Stew, and it made me feel quite sick. The saffron potatoes were powdery, the monkfish was rubbery, and I feel like this dish had just been whipped out of the freezer and heated up. It was 24 for the small dish, and I was left with not only a bad taste in my mouth, but an upset stomach. Will not be coming here again, unfortunately.
