Yesterday I ate a full english breakfast at one of the cafes they supply nearby and the sausages were so good, meaty and tasty that I had to ask where they got them from. I went to Ansell Butchers straight after and spoke to Owen who was delighted to hear my satisfaction so I bought some sausages and will take them back to London as I'm only here for the weekend. Will be back soon. He was so helpful in explaining about their meat and the quality.

Excellent butchers. We've just had delicious steaks, not a spot left over. Superb quality. We also ordered our Christmas meats from them and again everything was spot on, best pigs in blankets we've ever had

Have shopped here for over 20 years. The staff are very friendly, helpful and very efficient. The meat is always of good quality and that is why we choose to use this butcher. We never buy from supermarkets, as really have no idea where the meat comes from, even though it may say British, it may only be packed in Britain. We always support our local shops. It may be a bit more expensive, but we can pick and choose what cuts of meat we want and in a small quantity. We are not getting that service in a supermarket. Please support your independent shops.
