Great service as always here. It's nice to be able to walk in and have people explain things clearly. Happy to recommend for all your PC repairs.

My laptop became terminally ill just days before Xmas. Went into TDR Computers, who have helped myself and family out many times in the past and was not disappointed! Olly spent some time advising me on the purchase of a refurbished laptop and despite me being willing to pay the extra for a new one, he pointed out that the refurbished one would do the same job. I returned just two days later and spent an hour with Steve (owner) who went through a number of issues that had been thrown up during the recovery of data from my old laptop. I then returned the following day where Steve spent another hour and a half with me going through various updates/upgrades and installing some essential programs. Despite a good three hours of personal service, I was not charged any more than a standard investigation. I cannot recommend Steve and all his team highly enough!

Apple Computer users should run a mile from these cowboys! I took my Apple Macbook Pro in to TDR computers a month ago for repair, and they quoted a whopping 400 to fix my 6 year old laptop. As this was marginally cheaper than replacing it, I instructed them to carry out the repair and two weeks later they called me to advise that it was ready. Upon collection I made the clearly smart move to check "About this Mac" only to discover that the computer had been downgraded, now having a 256gb hard drive instead of the original 512gb, making the laptop basically useless to, also reducing its value by a few hundred pounds.. I don't know whether this was a purposeful attempt to scam me, but when I said that a 256gb hard drive was no good to me they actually told me that I could sell it on ebay, after paying them the full 400 repair fee, despite having knocked at least 300 off the value of my Mac. They repaired my computer with inferior components and then acted as if they had done nothing wrong. They said that the correct part would now be 450 (for a SIX year old laptop). I looked up the cost of a 2nd hand part and it is typically about 200, btw. They offered to put the old parts back and as this was now completely unviable to repair, at that price, I said that this is what they should do. When I went to collect my still broken computer, an entire month having passed, they actually had the cheek to charge me 30 to get my laptop back, which they had certainly never mentioned before. 30, for what? For them failing to fix my computer? For the waste of my time? Or for trying to rip me off by fitting inferior parts? Either way, I have lost a month and 30 for making the mistake of going to TDR Computers. This attitude to customer service is utterly baffling to me, but then I remembered all their advertising in those glossy magazines spread about the shop that they deliver to your house that really only exist to sell advertising. Why would a local company spend so heavily on advertising rather than word-of mouth and repeat business? I suspect it is because TDR Computers do not get repeat custom often, as most people tend to learn the hard way only the once. I also did a search for them on Companies House which was very revealing. This is a company with absolutely no trading history (it clearly changed hands in the past year or so) and the connected business to the current managing director reveals a micro-company (My CTO Ltd.) that makes a loss from consultancy. All in, its quite indicative of a rogue trader who possibly has gambling debts or a drug habit, and is certainly not serious about looking after their customers. Use TDR Computers at your own risk, if you have read this, you cannot say that you have not been warned.

Staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. I called in with a problem with my mobile phone expecting to leave it with them, but they set to and did it in less than an hour while I waited, and only charged a nominal amount. Brilliant five star service.
