Best fish and chips locally by far, in our opinion. We only have chish and fips so can't comment on all the other lovely looking food they serve but would expect it all to be just as top notch - they are always busy, which speaks for itself.

Really friendly people! Every thing cooked fresh, really good chips better than another local fish and chip shop! Brilliant place!!

Shocking experience when I ordered online. A friendly member of staff called to say we have no cooked steak pies but is It OK if they microwave one for us. I said I don't want a microwave pie that doesn't sound good. The staff member agreed and said that was why she was calling. I asked for a full refund as my son (who's birthday it is) only likes steak pie. I was told the card machine was down and I would have to collect my refund in cash. We are on holiday for my sons birthday so I said no, please bring the cash to me if your card machine is down. I heard that Manager in the background saying "what do you mean they're on holiday?!" angrily. The Manager came on the phone and said he does not care what I think and that if you buy a pie from Tesco it goes in the microwave. Even if this is the case the rudeness of the Manager was ridiculous. He refused to bring our refund even though the card machine error was not my fault. I have never been spoken to by a "Manager" in such a rude way. I told him I would be leaving a review and he said he was pleased and that he would respond. I would avoid this place as the Manager has no respect for his customers. He only needed to apologise and we could have resolved the situation. He was even angry that I wanted to cancel my order! I have to ask, if they saw no problem in microwaving a pie, why did the staff member call me to ask if it was OK? Why did the staff member agree that it isn't the best way to cook a pie and that's why she called to ask? The Managers conduct and way he spoke to me was awful. As an area Manager myself I would never dream of speaking to a customer like this. Very disappointing.
