The Limes

I stayed here with my bridemaids the night before my wedding last month. From enquiring until we left this hotel was amazing. The bridal suite was absolutely stunning and the minibar was a lovely touch. We had dinner in the restaurant which was so nice, very intimate and the staff were so friendly. One of my party is a wheelchair user and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate. The breakfast the next morning was really nice and they even took it over to the bridemaids that were having their hair done in the rooms so they didn't miss out. I honestly can't thank all of the team at the Limes enough, you made the night before my wedding an amazing one and I will def be returning with my new husband. Thank you all

Maldon is a nice little village. The hotel is central. Really lovely staff. We stayed in the Limes room. Amazing room with many lovely touches. Only issue being.. it's above the kitchen and there is constant heavy slamming of the door. To the point where the whole bed shakes. There's also the extractor right outside. The noise finishes about 12:30am and starts up again about 8am. I think if they could get a door closer fitted it would massively improve the situation. Breakfast was delightful. My wife had the full Italian breakfast and I had parmigian scrambled eggs on toast with pancetta. Absolutely lovely. Could easily have given 5 stars if the noise situation wasn't an issue.
