Oak on the Green

Previously ate here 3 years ago. Food was not as good as then. Burgers were lovely. Caesar salad had stale croutons and was not brilliant. Pork belly was a tiny meal and have had better. The beef in the curry was tough. The crusted cod was crusted on the skin side which would have been better on non-skin side as skin often not eaten (as in this case). Rather disappointing overall. Price was reasonable though.

The menu is different since we last visited, less choice, smaller portions. Still a nice pub meal. On the whole the staff were very friendly and attentive, a couple were a little off though. Overall an enjoyable family meal

Lovely pub in Bearsted! Warm welcome, great food (menu was superb) and good choice of ales. Service was excellent - Helen W was our waitress and was super attentive and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Great value for money and would definitely revisit if in the area.
