The Medical Centre

Firstly declaration of interest - my wife works there. I am, however, a patient and therefore entitled to post a review. This practice allows a patient to book a consultation via the NHS app, this is fabulous and when I tried I found that there were dozens of available appointments with a choice of clinicians at times that were convenient to me. 2 minutes, appointment secured and no waiting on the phone. Complete control and no hassle. Well done practice managers, so many practices do not allow patients to book via the NHS app, you are an example practice and others should follow.

Registered here for at least 8 years- never had a problem with them. Sometimes its difficult to get appointment for closer date, but I think this is new normal everywhere. Staff helpfull, doctors too.

The staff and gps at the surgery are usually very helpful and understanding and getting a timely appointment usually isnt a problem. Ive taken a star away since theyve usually contacted me before this time of year to get a flu jab but nothing to date and no Covid booster either.

Wouldnt even give 1 star. Been waiting for appointment for three weeks no phone calls back, and been cancelled number of times when a doctor is meant to come out.
