The apartments are situated close to Maidenheads shops, restaurants and pubs and only a minute or two from Waitrose, which is good but also right on a main road which is quite busy with sometimes speeding cars, including police cars (as the police station is also close by) so beware, especially if you have children.
Just before bedtime, we discovered that the bedlinen was blood-stained!! Not ideal! It also had holes in places; pillowcases were smeared with foundation; towels were stained too, with little bits of ingrained dirt and fluff and hair. Not something we normally need to check!!! When we asked for replacements they were of similar quality so had to be changed again. This was really off-putting.
Kitchen, bathrooms and furniture had bits of debris, crumbs and stray hairs in places.
Even after Id cleaned everything throughly, this couldnt help but be a less than comfortable experience where we couldnt really relax and enjoy our stay.
We did complain and there was going to be an investigation into cleaning of linen, but we didnt hear any outcome.
Not recommended in its current state, but has the potential to be nice.
