Bridge Road Pharmacy

What is it with Maidenhead and appalling standards and customer service? Bridge Road Pharmacy is another awful place. Staff are rude, the pharmacists are incompetent (couldn't even fill a basic prescription property), and not one person in there has any basic human interaction skills. Please avoid and just go to Boots ten minutes up the road. At least at Boots you get a little bit of politeness and decent standards.

Called with a prescription token, which the pharmacist dealt with quickly, they had my items in stock and they were ready in 5 mins. The pharmacist who answered the phone was knowledgeable and really friendly!

Friendly staff. Always have my repeat prescription ready. Have a good selection of very reasonably priced everyday goods!

I have long thought this pharmacy provides poor customer service due to the negative attitude of some staff members (it literally feels like you are putting them out by daring to shop there). However, today really was ludicrous. I joined a line, 4th in the queue. The 1st person was someone who needed help completing a prescription, he was told they couldnt help. The 2nd person was an older gentleman who clearly has experience of the shop. On receipt of his prescribed medicines he insisting on checking the contents, which were wrong. The 3rd person was a lady with a sick child and a prescription for a 250ml bottle of medicine. She was told the 250ml bottles had run out and she should ring around other pharmacies. Amazingly she was also told they have plenty of 125ml bottles of THE SAME MEDICINE HER CHILD WAS PRESCRIBED but they were unable to provide them without a revision from her doctor.
