In February 2014, I tore my anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in my left knee in a skiing accident. Being a very active person who spent a lot of time in the gym or doing other sports such as boxing, this injury had a huge impact on me both physically and mentally. I decided not to go down the route of the surgery and wanted to see if I could recover by myself. The biggest challenge I had was that whenever I tried doing something physically challenging apart from walking, my knee always reacted badly which inevitably kept me out of exercise for longer. The thought of getting back into another sport was out of the option. At that point I didnt think there was any hope and almost regretted my decision not to have gone ahead with my operation. I then started training with Tommy in May 2015 with one of my friends, which at first was extremely challenging, especially with my knee injury. I always felt that I was lagging behind and could feel the weakness in my knee compared to my training partner. I really struggled with squats and lunges as my knee was incredibly weak. At that point, I didnt think my knee would ever get back to normal functionality and got used to having difficulties with my knee as that had just become the norm. Having trained with Tommy for almost 2 years now, I have seen a significant improvement not only in my fitness, physical capabilities but also in a tremendous development in the strength of my knee. All the training has rebuilt the strength in my knee and Tommy has helped me to push myself to new limits. For someone who was not able to even do a squat properly, I never thought I would ever be able to lift 50kg on a barbell squat but thats something Tommy was able to help me build up towards after months of training. I now feel as though not only are my training sessions with Tommy part of my fitness regime, but also part of my physio which for me, is a win-win. Since training with Tommy, I have been very fortunate not to have had any setbacks with my knee. Thank you Tommy, I wouldnt have been able to do it without you! The best thing about training with Tommy is that every session is always different. He constructs personalised sessions which can be targeted towards areas I like to focus on but he also encourages me to train areas I wouldn't normally which makes it even more challenging. He always pushes me to new limits and every time I walk out of his session, I always feel very happy that not only have I had a productive workout but also a lot of fun! I couldnt be happier with the progress I have made by training with Tommy since I started training with him. If you are looking for a personal trainer, I would highly recommend Tommy!

I have had personal training with Tommy for the last 12 months. He has helped me achieve my personal goals. By providing fantastic nutrition advice and work out programmes. However every session is different and this keeps me motivated to try my best. Sometimes life gets in the way but Tommy is very a understanding, open and trustworthy trainer. A year ago I wouldn't have been able to run at all. Now I can run a mile and am building up slowly for more. Taking part is 6.5 km walks etc. Training with Tommy helps me focus and is a stres reliever . You get the results you want with the dedication and positive support that Tommy provides . I would highly recommend his services.

I approached Tommy regarding a fitness and nutrition plan back in May 2016. From the first meeting until my final weigh in he was completely professional, showed incredible knowledge and really worked hard to devise a plan that suited my needs. I have since continued to use Tommy and he has been a great asset to aiding my weight loss and regaining my fitness. I would highly recommend Tommy to anyone who is interested in his services.

I started out with tommy as a quick fix after the indulgent Christmas period to tone up for a holiday. However, now, almost 2.5 years on, personal training and fitness have become a healthy and positive attribute to my lifestyle and I haven't looked back since! With Tommy's training sessions you get variety, motivation and most importantly, results! I leave each session knowing I've been pushed to my greatest potential, something I don't feel I could do on my own! Each session has been tailor made to meet my goals and now that Tommy offers group training sessions, I am able to train with one of my best friends and we can push each other to our limits. Alongside exercising, valuable advice has also been given on diet and simple things such as sleep which can affect our weight! It's never too late to start! If you want an enjoyable way of achieving your goals- Tommy is the guy for you!!!
