I started to use Majestic in Maidenhead a few years ago for Christmas drinks.. And now rarely go to supermarket for wine. Why? Because its not a lottery- tell them what type of wine you want and they direct you immediately to a few wines out of the vast collection- they have such knowledge and experience. Worth paying a little extra to avoid the Russian roulette of supermarket wine shopping. You might also find something e expected to try. I could go on.. oh and they are super friendly!
